"At 26 I was diagnosed by reactive arthritis and inflammation in my knee. Every activity I did; sit for more than 24hrs, walk a little more than the usual, exercise etc aggravated the pain. I had accepted and made peace with the fact that I will have to make peace with the fact that I will have to restrict myself as to what I can do or should do.

“I suffer from multiple disc prolapses all because of bad form and ignorant instructors while weight training at the gym. I have done a lot of physiotherapy sessions but that only helped in pain management and wasn’t effective in strengthening the affected muscles.

Pilates works on core strengthening and toning.. My experience from when i 1st started about mid last year was to focus on flexibility and toning ang along the way it worked impressively towards strengthening..
